Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AuD or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide remote hearing healthcare services in a fast-paced ENT environment. This role can be part-time or full-time based on candidate availability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, consultations, and making product recommendations through telemedicine technology. This individual will recommend and service both Earlens Hearing Devices and traditional top-brand acoustic hearing aids.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hearing assessments using remote technology and interpret results.
• Recommend and fit appropriate Earlens solutions and traditional acoustic hearing aids for patients.
• Provide remote counseling and support to patients regarding hearing loss, hearing aid use, and other related issues.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced ENT environment, collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and referral sources as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hearing technology and telehealth solutions.
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
• Meet productivity and quality standards as set by the clinic.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Hearing Science, or a related field.
• Valid state license to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist.
• Licensed in Florida, North Carolina and/or Missouri.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hearing instrument fitting and dispensing.
• Experience working in a fast-paced ENT or medical clinic environment is preferred.
• Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
